Video Game Design Lab - Mr. Mardian

Description: Does your child love video games and want to know how they’re made? In Level Up! Video Game Design Lab, students will become game creators—not just players! Using Delightex, a kid-friendly virtual coding platform, students will design and build their own original video games using Blockly coding. Along the way, they’ll learn foundational coding concepts such as algorithms, loops, events, and conditional statements while developing problem-solving skills, creativity, and persistence through hands-on experimentation and debugging. No prior coding experience is needed—this class is designed to support beginners while still engaging more experienced students. By the end of the program, students will proudly share a fully playable video game they created themselves.
