OUR PROGRAMS

AROUND THE WORLD

Rising (24-25 School Year) Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd Grade

Journey through the world exploring song, dance, art, cuisine, language and more. Campers practice school routines, hold important classroom responsibilities, and collaborate through engaging and hands-on activities and projects, all the while enhancing their understanding of the world around them. Week after week, campers grab their passports and travel to a different part of the globe. Each day is framed by a unique question for campers to explore.

  • How do people around the world celebrate and express their cultures?
  • How do people communicate and share their stories?
  • How do children play and have fun in various cultures?
  • How does the environment influence the way people live in different countries?
  • What makes each region special and unique?

Campers will explore these questions through a multi-disciplinary lens, combining familiar subjects to help them unpack their own answers to these exciting questions. Our curriculum is loosely framed by California State Standards for Pre-K through 2nd grade along with the Learning for Justice Standards standards around identity, diversity, justice and action. The classroom environment is playful, student-centered, and highly engaging. Grab your passports and travel with us all summer!

Is there a snack time?

Yes, all campers are required to bring a light snack for the children to enjoy around mid-morning. We ask that families refrain from packing any nuts or nut based products in their child's snack. Snacks are provided by the camp for students staying in after care, and families are also welcome to pack an extra snack for after-care.

Full-day campers have a lunch and all campers have a recess period. Full-day campers are required to bring a packed lunch each day. We ask that families refrain from packing any nuts or nut-based products.

Can my child drop-in for just a day or two?

We work hard to build a curriculum that is meaningful and impactful with each day connecting to the next.  We do not accept drop in campers, and are unable to prorate for any missed days of camp.
